We think that it is prudent to consult with an attorney, if you are injured in a motor vehicle accident. In our office we will not pressure you and we will be frank and open about your claim and we ask the same from you.

The adjustor from the insurance company will be skilled at handling these claims. For you it will be one of the few times you will be dealing with an adjustor. The adjustor's job is to close out the claim for as little as possible. This is not to say that the adjustor is dishonest, but to point out that the adjustor's duty is to his or her employer and not to you. We deal with adjustors on a daily basis and we know what you are entitled to in the way of legal damages.

We do not charge for the initial consultation and if you hire us consultations are part of the fee. We handle these cases on a contingent fee -- that is we charge a percentage of the recovery. We do not charge an "up front" fee to handle these claims.

We also handle "liens" so that you will not receive a nasty surprise after you settle. It can be quite upsetting to settle your claim, and then some months later learn that you have to pay a health insurer a substantial amount of money for treatment bills. We try to make sure that when you settle, all lose ends in the claim are wrapped up, so that you will not have to worry.
